We have welcomed our new student teacher Miss Lamb. She will be with us for seven weeks. We are very excited to have her in our class.

Hufflepuff Writing

The Hufflepuff writing group is learning to take out overused words like 'then', 'so', 'and', 'but' and 'now'. We have researched some more interesting words we can use and have tried to make our writing more interesting to read with interesting sentence starters. What do you think?

Cate	I smiled as I was biking on the footpath. My hands were shaking as I peddled away. My cheeks went red.
Gemma	My face lit up, my cheeks were red. Some tears come through my eyes as I peddled away.
Jake	My face with beginning to turn into a big grin. As I was walking I didn't feel to good.
Cam	I was smiling because I found a bigger hamlet. I didn't have a big enough helmet and I didn't like it.
Ben	As my legs were pushing the pedals my legs were pushing the pedals slowerer. My face was going red
